The gmail undo send setting is a powerful and useful feature that is now available to everyone with a gmail account. This quick tutorial will show you how to enable gmail undo send in your inbox right now.

click the gear icon, then choose settings

Log into your gmail account and click the Gear icon in the right corner, then select Settings.

In the General Tab, scroll down to the area that says “Undo Send” in bold. Tick off the box, then choose if you’d like to have 10, 20, or 30 seconds to decide to unsend your message.

Don’t forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page to save your changes.

That’s it! Now you have the option to unsend your messages in gmail. After your message has been sent from the inbox, you’ll see a small text message in yellow that looks like this:

You must click the word Undo to unsend your message within the 10, 20, or 30 second timeframe you’ve chosen. If you do not, your message will send and you do not have the option to take it back.
