Website Design Process

Are you a “hands-on” kind of person who needs a new website or redesign of your existing site? Let’s get right to the core: here’s what happens when you contact Bullzeye Design:

  1. We’ll discuss project requirements, time frame, budget, and other details specific to your needs. This discussion will take place in person, by telephone, or via e-mail.
  2. We’ll go over a Website Design Questionnaire that will give me more detailed information about your company, target audience, and design goals. This can be completed on your own time, or may also be completed during an in-person meeting or on the phone.
  3. We’ll develop a customized proposal for your organization. The proposal will be based on your responses to the questionnaire. A contract will be sent with the proposal.
  4. If you accept the proposal and return the contract with an initial retainer fee, we’ll begin work. At this time all website content (text, graphics, photos, etc.) that you’d like to use on your website will need to be supplied.
  5. We will create a “mockup” of your website and email you the draft in PDF format so that you can review it.
  6. We will have a conversation in person, by telephone, or via e-mail about the mockup. At this point, any updates to the design are made.
  7. An updated mockup representing the updates will be e-mailed to you in PDF format (if changes have been requested).
  8. You will approve the design mockup. Any changes to the design and layout of the site after this point may incur additional fees.
  9. Once the site design and layout is approved, the website will be programmed (or “built”) .
  10. Any content you’ve given us will be added.
  11. After the site has been tested and approved by you, the balance of your fee must be paid before files are uploaded to your server or host.
